Cruise Shore Excursions

These are a few of the cruise ship shore excursions we offer. Most can be customized, depending on driving times from your port. All excursions are private in luxury air conditioned mini vans. Your friendly and knowledgeable English speaking guide-driver will provide commentary through the PA system along the way. Free wi-fi. Bottled water provided. Lunch is on your own, with recomendations from your guide. Prices are per group unless otherwise indicated. A minimum of 2 people for each tour, up to 8. If your group is larger than 8 ask for options.

FROM HONFLEUR OR LE HAVRE:

Paris Sights from Honfleur or Le Havre or Roen: A Great overview of Paris monuments Drive to Paris to see the famous monuments of your choice. Cruise the Seine. Have lunch. Visit Sainte Chapelle to see the incredible stained glass and architecture.

The Opulence of Versailles from Honfleur or Le Havre: Enjoy the beautiful drive to Versailles. Take in the spendor of the Palace and the Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Have lunch (on your own) and return to your ship. Entry tickets separate.

Monet’s Giverny from Honfluer or Le Havre: Pick up and drop off at Ship. Visit Claude Monet’s House & Gardens in Giverny including free time and lunch. Visit Honfleur before you return to your cruise ship.

Mont Saint Michel from Honfleur or Le Havre: Tour with your guide, the breathtaking site of this beautiful island monastery built in 710. Free time to wander and have lunch.

D-Day Beaches from Honfleur: See Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. Get an insight into the main battles of WWII. Lunch on your own. Return to Honfleur Port.

FROM ROEN:

Monet’s Giverny from Roen- Half Day: Pick up and drop off at Ship. Visit Claude Monet’s house and gardens in Giverny including free time to explore and have lunch. Walk in his footsteps!

FROM BORDEAUX:

Dordogne and Lascaux Caves from Bordeaux: Explore the beautiful views and charming villages of Sarlat and Beynac in the Dordogne and the incredible prehistoric caves at Lascaux IV. Tour can be customized. Return to Bordeaux port.

Winery Tour & Picnic, Bordeaux and Saint Emilion from Bordeaux: Tour of Bordeaux, wine tasting, amazing picnic lunch at a chateau winery including wine, walking tour of charming Saint Emilion. Private tour of underground monuments in Saint Emilion is optional. This tour is priced per person.

Private Winery Tours from Bordeaux: We offer 3 optional tours: 1: Visit & wine tasting in a Grand Cru Classé Chateau and a private visit of the underground monuments of Saint Emilion 2. Visit & wine tasting in 2 Grand Cru Chateau of Saint Emilion, 3 Combine Saint Emilion with Pomerol and visit 3 wineries. Ask for itineraries and details.

FROM LE VERDON:

Bordeaux Tour & Wine Tasting from Le Verdon: Walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bordeaux with a licensed guide. In the afternoon, visit & wine tasting in the Medoc Bordeaux wine region in a Grand Cru winery in a famous appellation of the vineyard. Return to your ship in Le Verdon.

Bordeaux Wine Tour in Medoc from Le Verdon Port: Visit Chateau wineries, sample the famous Bordeaux red wines in the Saint Estephe or Pauillac appellations with a guide who is an expert in Bordeaux wines. You will visit 2 or 3 carefully selected Classified Growth Chateaux or Cru Bourgeois estates. Great for beginners or seasoned conneseurs. Lunch in Pauillac on your own.

FROM NICE, ANTIBES OR VILLEFRANCHE-SUR-MER:

Cannes, and Hilltop Villages from Antibes, Nice or Villefranche Sur Mer: Explore the History and Culture of France’s Mediterranean Coastline on this private full day shore excursion. Visit Glamorous Cannes, then the wonderful hilltop villages of Grasse, Gourdon, and Saint Paul de Vence.

Wine Tour of Provence from Antibes: Visit several wine appellations located in the Mediterranean region – Côtes de Provence. Enjoy tastings from 3 or 4 wineries depending on time. Learn about the characteristics of the terroir and the wine making process as you stroll through the aging cellars.
