On Tuesday and Saturday, you'll visit the market in San Remo and in Vintimiglia on Friday.
On the return trip, you'll stop in Menton, the "pearl of France". There you can walk the flowery town before taking the Upper Corniche Road with a panoramic view over Monaco from La Turbie.
Interesting to know: The Corniche road refers to a road on the side of a cliff or mountain (from the French word for ledge). This is most definitely the case for the Riviera road where the ground rises from the Mediterranean and results in some amazing highway vistas.
