Provence Cooking Classes

What a unique way to learn about French cooking. In particular, the emphasis will be on Provençal cooking. Contact us to book a cooking class in Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Venasque during your stay in Provence.

Venasque Cooking Class

Cooking in ProvenceImagine this special day (9 hours) which is possible with a minimum of two people and a maximum of 6 any day except Sunday.

Pans simmering on a stoveYou'll be picked up at your Avignon hotel to drive to Venasque to experience this most special and intimate cooking class. You'll explore the fundamentals of Mediterranean cooking, using the best foods from the local markets! Lunch (including wine) is included.

After lunch, you'll continue on to Beaumes de Venise for a visit and wine-tasting.  This village nestles at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail hills and the Muscat wine which is produced here is known far beyond Provence! As well, you'll want to taste the Baumes de Venise's excellent AOC red wine. You'll then return to your hotel.

Cost: If two people, the cost is 340 €/person; if 3 people, it's 265 €/person; 4 people, it's 230 €/person; if 5 people, it's 220 €/person; if 6 people, the cost is 200 €/person.

Aix-en-Provence Cooking Class

People enjoying a cooking class in ProvenceTable with Provencal table clothEnjoy a full day Provençal food and cooking experience in a country home near Aix-en-Provence. This one day course begins with a brief tour of the historic center of Aix-en-Provence. You'll shop at the market and at a traditional cheese shop in town and then go to the Chef's home. After a snack, you will have the cooking course. Then you'll delight in a four course dinner with apéritif and wines.

This class is also possible as a morning (8:30-12:30) cooking class with lunch or 2:30 - 6:30 class with dinner.

Avignon Cooking Class

Dessert8:00 am to 1:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm

This class is available for a minimum 2 and a maximum of 25 people every day. Contact us to check availability.

Prepared food in bowls in a Provencal marketUpon arriving at the charming restaurant, you'll learn of the recipes for the day. There is a theoretical demonstration with practice.

During the apéritif, you'll discuss the course together with how to combine meals with wine. Then you'll have lunch with the Chef.

Cooking class kitchen in ProvenceIn the Provençal kitchen of the Chef's home, you are invited to discover (or rediscover) the joy of cooking while enjoying the pleasures of dining in a warm and friendly atmosphere, and sampling the tastes of the South of France.
