A Paris Travel tour group posing in front of the Eiffel TowerStore in MontmartreFor five days, we'll explore Paris, the "City of Light"! À Paris Travel group tours are small (5 to 10 travelers) and we're able to see and discover the essence of Paris. Immersing ourselves in the life and beauty of this most amazing city, the joie de vivre is all around us. We experience much of the city in the places we have dinner, in the streets we'll explore, and in the museums we'll visit!

Paris pastry shopThough a modern, Western Civilization city, Paris is different from any American city. We try to notice these differences, value them, and appreciate how they make Paris the magical place it is! It's like having an incredibly sumptuous meal at every corner!

As Ernest Hemingway so eloquently said of Paris:

"If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast."

Hotel in BayeuxAfter our feasting in Paris, we'll take the train north to Normandy and spend five days in the town of Bayeux, a picturesque town liberated by the British early on June 7th, 1944.

British war veteran at British cemetery in BayeuxWe'll be in Normandy for June 6th, so will celebrate the 65th anniversary of Operation Overlord and the D-Day Landings of June 6, 1944. Additionally, we will have the privilege of meeting veterans who actually landed at Omaha, Sword, Juno, Utah, and Gold Beaches.

Bayeux CemeteryThese wonderful individuals return to pay respect to their fallen comrades and allow us to honor them. You'll leave with a lasting impression and a feeling of pride for what so many sacrificed during WWII.

Mont Saint MichelAnother day in Normandy will be a visit to Mont Saint Michel, a most remarkable marvel of architecture! Imagine constructing an amazing place in the most impossible location... and this is Mont Saint Michel!
