Private Normandy Tours We offer several options for a private tour (to originate from your Paris hotel or from Normandy)

(Thursday and Saturday year round) This 12 hour day will begin with a
pick-up from your hotel at 6:30 AM. The day includes visits to the Caen
Memorial Museum,
Mulberry Harbour at Arromanches,
Omaha Beach, the
Batterie de Longue,
Pointe du Hoc,
and the
American Cemetery. Lunch is not included, but you will have free time in
Arromanches to have lunch. During the day, you'll drive through some of
Normandy's pretty villages such as Saint-Pierre-du-Mont, Vierville-sur-Mer,
Colleville-sur-Mer, and Port-en-Bessin. Contact us

From April 1-October 31, the tour is available Monday, Wednesday, Friday,
and Saturday for 159 euros/person. During other months, you can take the
tour on Wednesday and Saturday. This 14 hour guided Normandy bus tour
departs at 7:15 near the Louvre and includes the Caen Memorial, where you'll
have lunch. You'll also go to
Pointe du Hoc,
Arromanches, and the
American Cemetery
with its amazing visitors center which opened in June of 2007. Contact

Beginning at your Paris hotel or apartment, this
D-Day tour to
Normandy is available every day. The itinerary is flexible (ie. we can
include a stop in Bayeux to visit the
Bayeux Tapestry!). First
stop will be Arromanches-les-Bains to see the remaining concrete Phoenix
caissons of the
artificial harbor. (It was Sir Winston Churchill's brilliant idea and constructed
on Gold
Beach by the British troops.)

The visit then continues to the
Batterie de Longue with its four-gun German naval battery. It has been
kept intact since June 6th, 1944. Next will be a visit to the
American Cemetery to honor the
9,386 U.S. servicemen and women buried
there. Leaving the
American Cemetery, you will
drive along
Omaha Beach and
visit
Pointe du Hoc,
where the 2nd US Ranger Battalion accomplished a nearly impossible mission!

You can take a train from
Paris to Caen and be met by our splendid guide. He has a van which
seats eight travelers (though the tour can be done with just your group of
one or two people and still be a private tour). You'll have a very full day
touring Normandy.
In the early evening, he will see that you get your return train to Paris. À
Paris Travel will happily arrange for your train tickets to be at your hotel
upon your arrival in Paris. (If you prefer, this guide can begin the tour

You can take the train from Paris to Caen and can rent a car in Caen (we
can make these arrangements for you). Upon your arrival in Caen, an
