Do you have several days to leave Paris for some wondrous sight-seeing? These guided minivan and bus tours are for two, three, or four days and include accommodations, some meals, and entrance fees.
(Thursday
to Friday tour is 2 days/1 night) For this bus trip, you'll leave Paris at
7:15 AM on any Thursday from May 8 to October 16 and will return the
following day around 9:00 PM.
Day 1 will be full of discovery as you visit Rouen, Honfleur, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery, Arromanches, and Caen. Dinner is included as well as an overnight stay in a 3*** hotel.
Day
2 will be very special as you'll stroll
Saint Malo, the walled city of
pirates! You'll then enjoy a guided visit of the abbey of
Mont Saint

Day
1 will include a guided walking tour of the old center of
Rouen to see the Gros
Horloge, the Cathedral which Monet painted with such interest, and the
Square where Joan of Arc met her fate. Arriving in
Honfleur, you'll be
able to have some free time in this artist's paradise. The day continues
with visits to
Arromanches, the Landing Beaches, and the
American Cemetery at Omaha Beach to
honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the D-Day invasion of
June 6, 1944. Overnight will be in
Caen

Day
2 will take you to Saint Malo,
a walled city with a history of seafaring pirates and present day cobbled
streets. A short drive from Saint Malo is the
Mont Saint Michel
and as you enjoy your guided visit, you'll wonder how this work of wonder
could ever be built in the location where it is! Overnight will be in the
Loire Valley and dinner is included.
Day 3's charm is Renaissance chateaux full of intrigue, beauty, picturesque gardens, and regal history! Visits to Langeais and Amboise, Leonardo da Vinci's last home Clos Lucé, and the gardens of Villandry will make you feel like you've stepped back in time to the summer homes of the kings! The day isn't over though, since you'll also have a walking tour of the capital of the region, the city of Tours. Overnight will be in Tours in a three star hotel (dinner included). Day
4 will continue your Renaissance reflection as you get to visit two gems of
the Loire Valley. These are the Chateaux
Chenonceau
(with its fascinating ladies history!) and

before your grand finale focus on the
Châteaux Chambord, with its
mere 400 rooms. You'll be back in Paris at 7:00 PM. The trip cost is 695

(Wednesday
to Thursday trip is 2 days/1 night) Departure is on Wednesday from March
26th until October 22nd. You will take a TGV/bullet train to
Lourdes and upon arrival, you'll
have a transfer to your 3*** hotel. Dinner and breakfast are included in
this trip. While in Lourdes, you will be on your own to have your visits to
the sanctuaries which are within walking distance of the hotel. You'll also
want to follow the evening procession.
