First stop will be Crupet one of the Most Beautiful Villages of Belgium. Crupet has the castle of Carondelet with a history beginning in the 12th century. Next to the castle is St-Martin Romanesque church, a grotto dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua. It is a holy place where pilgrims have come to pray since its creation.

Your Southern Belgium tour will continues through the Condroz area to Vervoz. In Vervoz, the buildings are from the 12th century and made of limestone with curved stones appearing like puzzles on the building facades.

The next tour stop in this tour will be Chardenneux, another of the Most Beautiful Villages of Belgium. Chardenneux is a village with a Romanesque church and history from the 13th Century.

Durbuy is just a valley away. Situated on the Ourthe River, it is in the Luxembourg province (west of Luxembourg the country) and has been dubbed “the Tiniest City in the World”.

Continuing the Belgium tour, you will arrive in Weris, once a vast megalithic center for religious ceremonies, astronomical observations, fertilization of the crops, healing of people, and manipulation of the Earth’s energies. Some say that Weris might well have been the most important megalithic center in Europe and today it is one of the Most Beautiful Villages of Belgium.
