Brussels is the Capital of Europe, so has a cultural, political, and architectural beauty. You can see the Grand'Place which is the central square where the City Hall is located. Leuven is the second part of this special day. With a history going back to the 9th century, it was not until around the 11th-12th century that Leuven became an important trading center within the Duchy of Brabant. It was at this time that its first walls, churches, monasteries, and abbeys were built.

Leuven is a university town with one of the oldest universities (founded in 1425) in Europe. The city oozes history on every corner. Not surprisingly, Leuven is also Belgium’s beer brewing capital and headquarters of Inbev, the second largest brewery in the world, renowned for Stella Artois beers. You'll see its Gothic Town Hall and the magnificent  Saint-Peter's church.
